If you’re just starting the game, and you were not lucky enough to get a strong DPS 5 star character, fret not there are a few 4 Star DPS characters that do very well sometimes even better than 5 stars.
Beidou
Beidou is an insane 4 Star DPS that shines the most when there are 2 or more enemies she is fighting, and in late game and abyss it is all about that, Beidou can be better than Diluc, Keqin, Childe easily if played correctly at least in the current meta, even though Electro is not the best element currently, Beidou’s counter skill is a broken ability that does insane amounts of damage, if you want to be Meliodas in Genshin Impact then Beidou is for you with her full counter.

Fischl
Another Electro broken character, Fischl is very strong she melts single target enemies like butter, if Beidou is strong versus groups of enemies and weak versus single targets, then Fischl is the opposite, that is way people use Fischl and Beidou in the same team to complement each other.

Xiangling is a resident sleeper S-tier DPS she is easy to get and you will not regret building her, because of her high attack speed, wide and persistant elemental burst she can be used as a main DPS if you have no other options, but that doesn’t mean that she is bad, quite the contrary she outshines some 5 Star Characters in terms of consitant and high damage.
