Ayaka is a Cryo Sword User that came out in patch 2.0, she is a powerful character that can infuse her normal attacks with Cryo attribute, she has an amazing burst, which gives you the possibility to play her just for that burst like Zhongli, or for her whole kit.

Because I do not own Ayaka, I tried gathering as much information from other players that have tried her and have seen success with her, so if you want to find out more about the builds they used, read this article below.

Ayaka’s Talents

For her talent, the priority is to level up her ultimate then her normal attack and elemental skill

Ayaka’s Build

For her Sands, everyone is building her ATK% and for sub stats, Crit DMG and Energy recharge are the best, so on the Flower and the Feather, you should prioritize these sub stats.

For the Goblet, there’s only one option which is Cryo Damage which is the best for this character as her elemental skill lets you convert your normal attacks into Cryo which makes it hard to try other builds on her

And for the Circlet going for Crit Dmg seems like the best option

The Set used by most players is Blizzard Strayer 4 Pieces for a freeze comp, but some use 2 pieces Blizard Strayer and 2 Pieces Noblesse Oblige, or an Emblem of Severed Fate Set for a quick swap team.

Ayaka’s Team Comp

If you want to run a Perma freeze team the first thing you need is a Hydro character like Xingqiu, Mona

Next, you’ll need another Cryo battery that would provide particles for your Ayaka, someone like Diona or Rosaria

And last you can put whatever you want but what most people are using right now is an Anemo character with 4 pieces of Viridescent Venerer Set for lowering the enemy’s defense.
