Are Valorant Skins Worth it?

Are Valorant Skins Worth it? This is a question that many people ask themselves when trying to buy themselves a Valorant skin. Is it worth it… There are many reasons why some people will praise Valorant for their skins, and many people will flame them, however, today in this OvrPwr article, we take a look at if Valorant Skins are worth it, and how you can get free valorant points (VP) to get some of those skins you dream of, without having to feel guilty! Let’s jump straight into it!

Are Valorant Skins Worth it?

This question is very subjective. Valorant skins, will not make you a better player. Valorant skins are there purely to show off, and look good in-game when you’re trying to clutch. For some people, they don’t want to look at the default grey weapon finish, but for some people this is ok.

Valorant Skins in general are not that bad, although quite expensive for some of the nicer ones – they do look quite good in-game and can make your whole Valorant experience much better. In short, the staff at OvrPwr think Valorant skins are worth it, but only if you must use one for the weapons you use.

If you are on a tight income or are procrastinating on whether you should get one of these skins, the best answer is to probably wait until you get a skin in-game, then make a decision when the weapon can be dropped to you.

Why are Valorant Skins so Expensive?

There is a lot of concern around why Valorant skins are so expensive, and for the most part – Valorant skins are quite expensive. Ranging from 875 VP all the way to a staggering 4125 VP for one virtual item, many people can’t justify this cost.

Valorant is a free to play the game, and with that being said – is only on PC. Valorant is a great game to play, and RIOT (Valorant’s developer) do need to reclaim some of the money back from releasing a F2P game.

We believe that for most people with a decent income, who possibly work a well-paid 9-5 job – these skins are not that expensive, but if you’re a student or someone who can’t justify spending up to 60 USD on a singular item, then this is quite a lot. And don’t worry – you’re not alone when thinking this.

How can you get free or cheaper Valorant Skins?

Many people don’t actually know, but Valorant Points (VP) can be gotten from multiple places, and in some cases cheaper than the Valorant Store itself. Not only this but there are actually places where you can get completely FREE Valorant Points to use.

We have written an article about how you can get FREE Valorant Points here, so be sure to check it out!
